Sealant Viksint U-2-28 (NT)
Sealant Viksint U-2-28 (NT)
Viksint U-2-28 sealant is a pasty sealing material of pink or white color, which has the ability to transition from a pasty to a rubber-like state after mixing with catalyst No. 28 and hydrophobic liquid 136-41 at room temperature.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
the main paste is mixed with a catalyst 28 and a hydrophobic liquid 136-41; to improve the adhesion of the sealant to the surface, a sublayer P-11 (cold drying) is used.
Packing: 5,575 kg and 22,3 kg.

Application:
Sealant Viksint U-2-28 are used for surface sealing of metal joints and for sealing equipment, operating in air at a temperature from -60 to +250°C, also is used for sealing in a close space without air access.
Viksint U-2-28 is designed for sealing riveted, bolted, welded joints of structures and devices, including intra-seam sealing (in a closed volume without air access), as well as for filling plug connectors.
Silicone sealant are used in aircraft and aerospace industry, machine building, electronics, shipbuilding, automotive, civil and industrial engineering.

One of the important features of siloxane material are durability, resistance to sudden temperature swings, high vibration, radiation and UVR.
The sealant has heat resistance from -60 to +250°C (short-term 300°C) and dielectric properties.
Does not cause corrosion of aluminum, titanium alloys, oxidized magnesium, stainless and carbon steels, cadmium-plated and galvanized passivated.
